Fashion heads are not the only ones affected by the unfriendly retail waters. This year's Design Miami fair, which is known as the most extreme, high end fair for contemporary furniture, has seen a significant drop in demand for unique design pieces. (WSJ).
The current state of the economy has many designers thinking about the upcoming fall shows. The Valentino camp just announced that Valentino man won't be showing at Fashion week in Paris or Milan. (WWD).
Victor Carranza, former designer/stylist to Marilyn Monroe has announced he will be launching a new line, House of Marilyn, inspired by the vixen herself. (Fashion Week Daily).
