The Mattel toy company, home of Barbie, will begin a three year partnership with the CFDA this February. The company plans to sponsor Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York as well as provide some funding for scholarships and panels for the organization. They hope that this partnership will reinvigorate sales for their legendary doll, as well as boost the company into a credible fashion source.(WWD)
