WATM: Adbusters' Annual Guilt Trip is Relevant as Ever
If you're like a lot of people hit by the econonmic downturn, every day is Buy Nothing Day. But the folks over at Adbusters are gearing up for the official BND — Friday November 28 (aka Black Friday). On this day, Adbusters challenges us to go on a consumer fast and not spend any money, which will in turn help to combat what they see as the root of the current economic crisis — overconsumption.
