Designer Katherine Tsina's obsession with silhouettes began during her time as a dancer. "Dance was the first place I started to understand form and line as it relates to movement," recalls the designer behind Avion Feminin, who moved from Northern California to New York to study at the Merce Cunningham Dance School. Shortly after arriving East, she enrolled in Parsons School of Design, interned at Balenciaga and then worked as a fit model.
