For me, there are only two reasons to go to Chinatown's farflung Division Street. One is to chow down on Bacaro's inventive and utterly delicious Italian fare, and the other is to go to Project No. 8—one of my favorite shopping destinations in New York. The store has a wondrous selection of achingly cool clothes from designers such as Kostas Murkudis, Martin Margiela, Sunshine and Shadow, Christian Wijnants and Boudicca that style swans fawn over. Now, the Berlin-based designer is tackling global climate change with equal panache: he's created a seasonless collection called "96 Dresses," wherein each versatile piece can be worn as a slip dress in the summer, or a first-layer garment in the winter.read more »
