Belmacz's Flawless Finish

Belmacz Oyster Pearl Powder
Belmacz Oyster Pearl Powder
With her jewelry line Belmacz, London-based designer Julia Muggenberg has a way of putting traditionally prim and proper pearls in a totally different context. Instead of stringing them together to form a classic necklace, she might, for example, take a large black Tahitian pearl, set it with a single diamond and mount it on a heavy yellow gold band—instantly transforming a single luminous pearl into something edgy, intellectual and utterly cool.

With the creation of Belmacz's Oyster Pearl Powder, Muggenberg pushes the pearl into another realm of personal adornment—it's now made to be worn directly on the skin. The beauty of this luxurious powder is that it finely mattifies the skin, while enhancing the complexion with the lustrous qualities of pure, crushed pearls. A light trace of rose perfume adds a feminine allure. We don't usually think of makeup as something precious and magical, but leave it to Belmacz to change our minds.
