Colette x Gap = Super Chouette!

Hold onto your bérets, mesdames et messieurs! Colette, the French emporium of all things cool, is hitting up the Big Apple in a big way. Come fall, Colette will set up shop at Gap's concept store, which has housed previous collaborations with Pierre Hardy and Mulberry as well as collections from partnerships with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists. While this is Colette's first foray into the American retail scene, the collaboration is in line with Gap's recent initiative to inject their brand with a much needed hip factor.

The space will be redesigned by Kuntzel+Deygas and will rotate fashion and culture products on a weekly basis. Ardent followers of both retailers can get their fix of music, exclusive designer collaborations (Repetto and Oakley) and signature Colette beauty products. Additional wares include iconic Gap wardrobe staples like trenches and denim jackets as well as limited edition print tees and artwork by Paris and New York artists like André and Anne-Marie Herckes.

Though the original Colette is currently closed due to renovations, the Colette x Gap pieces will be made available during the Parisian re-opening on August 25th. For those stranded stateside, you'll have to wait until September 6th when the Gap concept space opens for a month.
