Fred Perry's Day-Glo Polos

Fred Perry + &Son polos
Legendary sportswear manufacturer Fred Perry has added a touch of urban psychedelia to its polo shirts for Summer '08 by teaming up with &Son, the creative consultancy established in 2007 by uber-stylists Nick Griffiths and Simon Foxton.

The shirt designs are inspired by the bold graphics of British military prints fused with a heavy dose of nu-rave. And the large-scale, angular prints help the rainbow-bright polos stay just this side of kitsch—day-glo pink is teamed with orange to eye-watering effect, while sage green and purple are mellowed by dove grey and black.

The shirts are available at Fred Perry stockists globally for around £125 ($250), and the duo have also created four additional designs for London's Dover Street Market, which are exclusive to the Comme des Garçons flagship and are also priced at £125.
