What's hot right now:
I can't wait for COS to open in Paris. It's H&M's luxury collection and was supposed to open this spring on rue des Rosiers. Also, we all want to see the "next thing" from Richard Mortimer. He's the one who created Boombox but it's been over since December 31st, 2007. He's launching a new website at www.ponystep.com, but we're all waiting for his new party project.
I've also heard that Ralph Lauren is going to open at St. Germain des Pres. It's a good thing because I'm really deeply attached to the Left Bank, where I've lived since I was a child. What's hot right now in Paris is more a question of attitude than a matter of clothes. Everyone is returning to something more healthy, less drugs, back to something spontaneous and friendly. People want to be in love rather than spending nights in a club.
